Tinplate offers advantages such as being tasteless, non-toxic, lightweight, and easily processed and formed. Additionally, printing various patterns can enhance the product's aesthetics, making it highly sought after in the food canning industry, electronics, chemical paints, and more. During production, post-tinning, the tin plate undergoes passivation to prevent oxidation and yellowing during storage or baking, and to enhance qualities like sulfur resistance.
